Information and Assistance
The Off-Campus Housing Advisory Service, offered by Monash Residential Services, assists students and staff by providing off-campus housing information and advice. The service provides the facility to search a comprehensive 'on-line off-campus accommodation database', including rental and tenancy information, shared housing and full rental opportunities.
Representatives from Monash Residential Services are based across Victorian campuses at various scheduled times, and are available to provide specialised information on your renting rights. Common areas of dispute are:
- Disputes about bonds
- Getting repairs done
- Privacy
- Rent increases
- Breaking a lease
- Notices to vacate
- Other housing related problems
The Monash Residential Services Off-campus Housing Manager will be available at each of the campuses for a personal appointment. See contact and availability details below to arrange an appointment at your campus.
