Internet access is not provided by Monash Residential Services at the Short Term Accommodation properties in Clayton Road and Beddoe Avenue. Staff will have to provide their own personal computers or laptops to be able to access the internet.

The phones provided at the properties have local call dialling facilities. Please contact an internet service provider using the Telephone Directory White Pages or Yellow Pages to enquire about dial-up or broadband internet via the existing phone line. Mobile broadband services are also available in Australia through internet service provider.

The Monash dial-up service, which provides remote access to the internet from home or other locations, is available to all Monash University staff. Staff will need to contact their departmental IT support to assist in accessing this facility.

NORMANBY HOUSE

The Monash guest wireless service allows conference attendees, visitors or guests working for faculties or university divisions to be given temporary access to the Monash wireless network for the time they are at Monash. To get access to this facility, the faculty IT Support staff may need to scan your portable device for any viruses and register your device on the network. Visitors can also get internet access via the network port in the room if the network card is registered on the Monash University network.
